This free tool is great for improving your writing. Working on a blog post? Drop it into Hemingway (or use their online or desktop editors) and get automated suggestions for how to improve your prose.
Tools discovered recently
This seems kind of nifty, it lets your customers view, download, or print their monthly receipts, so you are free of customer support requests about details missing from an invoice, etc. Starts at $19/month.
Another tool to automate a routine business process, this one is a Slack bot that lets you say something like “send an NDA to email@example.com” and the bot takes care of the rest, then informs you when the NDA is in place. Completely free for now.
An “all in one” website engagement tool that includes live chat, call requests, event scheduling, client testimonials and a knowledge base and some more stuff. Starts free, then $25/month if you want to remove their branding, enable integrations or have more than 2 users on your end.
This is an SSL redirection service for naked domains, also known as bare or apex domains. Redirect your non www domain to your www-domain or any other domain, both for your HTTP and HTTPS traffic. Free for a single domain, then starts at 4.99 EUR per month for 6 domains.
Night Eye is a browser extension that enables dark mode on any website you visit. It doesn’t simply simply invert images, it’s smarter than that. Free, and seems good for those of us burning the midnight oil.
DesignHusky can help with logos, images, brochures, anything you need designed really. Getting a quote is free and they back it up with an unlimited revisions, satisfaction guaranteed type of warranty.
This tool adds kind of an “exit intent” survey when your customers want to end their subscription, giving them options to, for example, pause the subscription, downgrade to a smaller plan, etc., or at least give better feedback before they leave. Free trial, then $15/mo (prices increasing soon).
